Afterthe midweek results, Arsene Wenger now believes the Premier Leaguetitle is realistically between his Arsenal side, defending championsManchester United and Avram Grant's Chelsea.
Liverpool's defeatat West Ham, while all their rivals were winning, has left Liverpool inseventh place, 17 points off the top - and Wenger thinks it is unlikelythat they can now get back into the race with the top three.
TheArsenal boss told: Arsenal TV Online: "If they win their game in handthey are 14 points behind and 10 behind Chelsea so it looks like threeteams."
Everton, who are 10 points behind Chelsea, are currentlylying fourth, but Wenger thinks the top three are probably the onlyteams still with realistic title aspirations this season.
Askedspecifically if he thought it was now a three-horse race, Wenger said:"Most probably yes, but we have to keep an open mind.
"At themoment I feel it is too early to come to definite conclusions and theonly thing you want is for your team to respond because it's a racewhere the consistency will be rewarded - and the strength of character.
"Iknow I have plenty in my team and that is why I don't want tocalculate, I just want to look at how well we can respond in every gamebecause I know that kind of consistency and stamina in performanceswill be determinant."
