[size=2][b]Fulham Take Stalteri From TottenhamFulham have completed their third piece of transfer business on deadline day with the loan capture of Tottenham full back Paul Stalteri.[/b]
The Canadian defender has seen his place come under threat at White Hart Lane with the arrival of Jonathan Woodgate and Alan Hutton and has been allowed to leave by boss Juande Ramos.
Stalteri was signed by Martin Jol from Werder Bremen back in 2005. In addition to his natural position of right back, Stalteri can also play on the left side of defence and in midfield.
He becomes the third new signing of the day at Craven Cottage as Roy Hodgson looks to strengthen his squad in preparation for their bid for Premiership safety.
The Cottagers announced the arrivals of Jari Litmanen and Toni Kallio earlier in the day.
[/size][size=2][b]Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that 27-year-old centre back Anthony Gardner has been loaned out to Everton until the end of the season.
The former England international arrived at White Hart Lane from Port Vale in 2000, making 144 appearances for the Lilywhites.[/b]
However, with the new club hierarchy and manager Juande Ramos bringing in their own men, it appears that the six-foot-five defender is surplus to requirements in London.
As such, he will join up with David Moyes' Everton, who currently sit fourth in the Premier League.
The Scottish boss plans to include Gardner in his match squad to meet Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park this weekend, following his arrival at Finch Farm on Friday morning.
Gardner, pictured here during his side's ill-fated meeting with Getafe, is ineligible to play for the Toffees in the UEFA Cup.
His sole goal this season was against Everton.[/size]
