TheSevilla wing-back was the subject of a transfer saga last summer afterChelsea made an offer, so he understands what his friend is goingthrough.

Manchester City have made an offer of around £á12m tosign him before the end of the transfer window and Fabiano has to makea big decision very soon.

"It is his life and his future and I think people should be where they feel happiest," Alves explained.

"If he decides to leave then we will have to accept that because it is his life."

Withother clubs also reported to be monitoring the former Porto forward'ssituation, Alves thinks that whenever a striker scores a few goals hehe is linked to other teams.

"It is obvious that when things gowell and he scores a lot of goals then it is normal that clubs willshow an interest," he continued.

Despite the speculation,Fabiano is concentrating on playing for Sevilla as he has yet to makehis mind up about whether to stay or go.

"He is focussed on playing for us and he knows that he is important to us," Alves added.
