領隊艾拿迪斯對杜夫即將復出感到高興，認為他在陣對於紐卡素的攻力會有一定的提升。
自今年四月後杜夫一直都在養傷當中，今季也從未替紐卡素在任何賽事中上陣。
不過在上週他己經可以隨隊練習，艾拿迪斯稱自己仍未決定何時會讓杜夫復出。
紐卡素週末將會在主場迎戰紅軍利物浦，前鋒奧雲己因傷肯定缺陣。奧雲亦己飛赴德國跟專家會面希望可以根治傷患。
前鋒馬田斯料夥拍維度卡在前線攻堅，而逃過英足總處分的祖爾巴頓亦可以在週末候命。[/color]

Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt believes the squad need to improve ontheirperformance against Porto on Tuesday night if they are tochallenge fortrophies this season.

But after conceding another penalty and battling for a draw inPortugalon Tuesday, Kuyt believes that although the team showedspirit,improvements need to made.
He told Liverpool’s official website: "It was an unbelievablystrangegame and without a doubt our worst performance of the season sofar, inthe first half especially. After that we had to keep going andtheequaliser helped us. The second half was better.
"We have so much quality in our team that we will always fight inanysituation, even if we have only 10 men as we did against Porto.
"This is important, but we also know you need more than this ifyou'regoing to win trophies. If we are going to win the Premier LeagueorChampions League, all of us know we will have to play much betterthanin the last game, hopefully starting against Birmingham onSaturday.
"What's important is to keep our unbeaten record for as long as possible, because this gives everyone a lot of confidence.
